Weapon of choice:  play 2 guitars at the moment, my black and white Fender Strat, and a semi acoustic Yamaha APX 900. My amp of choice is a Crate VTX 200, and I play through a BOSS GT-8.
 

The Story:

I started playing guitar rather late in life, only after my first year at Varsity, when I was 19. I saved up enough cash to buy my first guitar, a Fender Strat, by working as a janitor (many nights spent cleaning toilets) at an America ski resort. I had always possessed a passion for music but had never really considered myself a musician but more of someone who plays for the total fun of it.

On my return to SA, myself and Edan started jamming a few covers. Edan taught himself bass and we picked up a drummer and another guitarist … and before we knew it we were a band called SITTER.

I draw from a wide range of influences which include RANCID, GREEN DAY, COUNTING CROWS, MATCHBOX 20 and other genres of rock music.
